HealthSouth Nittany Valley Goes Red!
HealthSouth Nittany Valley Rehabilitation Hospital celebrated “National Wear Red Day” on Friday, Feb. 6, to raise awareness of heart disease in women. HealthSouth is committed to raising awareness of heart disease and stroke all year long and especially in February, which is American Heart Month.
Standing in the center (left), holding a heart, is Brooke Welsh division director of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. She joined HealthSouth CEO Susan Hartman (center) and more than 50 employees and student interns who wore red to show their support. HealthSouth Nittany Valley Rehabilitation also provides community education about heart disease and stroke prevention, and hosts monthly Stroke and Heart Healthy Support Groups, which are open to the public.
